The nuclear deal between India and the United States should be opposed tooth and nail, Janata Party president Subramanian Swamy has said.
In a statement here, he said the present 123 embodied nuclear deal if implemented without a formal recognition by US of India as a nuclear weapons state, will be capitulation and signal a willingness to become a nuclear concubine of the US and make India a part of the American harem in which Japan, Australia and Thailand are today.
Criticising Congress president Sonia Gandhi for hailing the agreement, Swamy said the call of the Congress party president to support the Indo-US Nuclear agreement is her cry of pain resulting from a badly twisted arm by the US.
The nuclear deal must be opposed by all Indians, except of course by those who look forward to, or are habituated to, the comforts of a harem for a 'small' moral price, Swamy added.
